Stillness..

#THISisyoga STILLNESS.

A yoga and meditation practice is what forces us/gives us the chance to STOP. The modern world is a crazy place and our modern minds make it even crazier. When was the last time you were actually completely still? In both body and MIND? When I see video of myself, I see that, like my dad, I’m a real fidgeter. Yoga helps me be STILL. On the mat, and off.

Can you stop now and just stay still, for the count of 10 breaths in and out? It’s hard isn’t it?! Find whatever helps you - find a visual point of focus, or maybe let the ears notice and absorb the sounds around you, possibly connect more to the physical feeling of your body as it’s positioned on the seat. Whatever works.  

THIS is yoga.
